REAL RESULTS AND LESSONS LEARNED

The coaching relationship is just that, a relationship. I didn’t wave a wand to make the below results happen. I worked with the below clients to help them achieve the results they were seeking by helping them find a path that best suited their lifestyle. Its my job to help clients weed through all of the crazy diet and fitness crap and navigate a path that suits their life. These folks put in the work and I am so grateful that they trusted me to help them.

Please meet a few of the amazing humans I have the pleasure of working with. I am so proud of the results they have all achieved

I am so grateful to Jess and all she has taught me and helped me achieve. Before working with her, I tried every fad diet out there. The diets worked for a short period, but then I gained back all of the weight I lost and then some. This left me feeling defeated and hopeless. It was a yo-yo.

Jess introduced me to the importance of strength training. I always thought cardio alone was the way to lose weight.

When I worked with Jess, I lost 80 lbs and gained confidence and a love of fitness. Since working with Jess, I’ve learned much more about balance when it comes to eating well and caring for my body. Working out should be fun and a reward for my body, not punishment.

My new lifestyle:

⁃ I work out 5-6 days a week on my Peloton - strength training daily followed by spin or a power walk

 ⁃ Follow a low-carb lifestyle

⁃ I cut out my snack after dinner

⁃ Get in extra steps whenever and wherever possible - for example, I take a 10-15 min walk in the middle of my workday

 ⁃ Water, water, water!

“I have been training with jessika Ramie for a little over 5 years and am also an avid runner. This past year I set a goal for myself to get back into the shape I was in about three years ago. I literally crushed it with the help of Jess’s online coaching and nutritional guidance. With the winter approaching, I knew that I would not be keeping up with my runs, as I am not a cold weather person by any means. The thought of swinging back to where I was mentally and physically last winter was not an option and so I started online training with Jess. I have been following her workouts in the gym for over a year now and could not be more pleased. I am proud of the progress I have made this past year and look forward to challenging myself in the future.”

I started working with Jessika in March of 2022. I have always worked out and had a few trainers over the years. They were always helpful at first. They would provide me with workout ideas, some stuck; some did not. They would usually discuss "diet" with me, and some of that information was helpful. I would lose some weight initially, and then I would typically get bored with them; the incentive to keep paying them would dissipate, and I would be on my way. I have never been severely overweight, nor have I had any severe health issues. But I've always been searching for a way to incorporate "fitness" into my life and maintain it. Jessika has changed my thinking about exercise and food and how they fit into my life. Mostly, I don't think about it anymore. I still plan my day, which includes my time at the gym, and I prepare my food (much more lovingly than I ever had), but I do not dread any of it anymore. I think of it more about how I can love myself each day. Much the same way I would think about taking care of my family. This is how I think about taking care of myself. And it's because Jessika asked me to look at my life, my challenges, and my fears about my self-image and align those things with what I wanted to be able to do in the gym and why. Don't get me wrong; she has also taught me things about lifting and food that I never knew, which have been incredibly helpful. But the game changer is the perspective she helped me find. Jessika is a friend, a sounding board, a cheerleader, and a coach. She kicks ass!!

“Before I found Jessika, I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out what exercise program or videos I should do, and what I should eat. Jessika takes the time to learn about her clients’ individual needs and lifestyle to help them find a program that will work for them. I really like how she does not only focus on diet and exercise, but everything that affects our bodies, including sleep, hobbies and socializing, and mental health. The mind is the biggest challenge in weight loss. Jessika gives you all the tools you need to succeed, you just have to put the work in. Also, she doesn’t pile it all on and overwhelm you, you work together on goals, one at a time, to create lasting lifelong habits. I really like that I have all my exercises and calories/protein set out for me each month, it takes out all the guess work.”

I have been working with Jessika for over a year. I had been struggling with depression and anxiety and had gained quite a bit of weight in a short period of time. When I looked in the mirror, I no longer recognized the person looking back at me. I was disgusted and knew I had to make changes but I was unsuccessful in getting started and staying consistent. I had hired a trainer at my local gym who did not understand my specific challenges and I got nowhere. I had been following Jessika on social media, her posts spoke to me, not so much the ones about nutrition and exercise but the ones about mental health. Finally, I got up the courage to give her a call, she took the time to listen to what was happening with me, emotionally, physically, and nutritionally. Before tackling nutrition or fitness we started working on stress reduction and emotional health. I quickly understood that I needed to be patient with the process and that consistency was the key to making changes. Within a few months, I began to come out of my depression and began to gain the confidence that I had lost. With these emotional changes, physical changes began to occur also. I have learned so much from Jessika and have made lifestyle changes that have now become my new way of life. Jessika does not hand out a Get Skinny in Two Weeks Plan, this is about lifestyle changes so that we can live in the healthiest way possible as we grow older. Today, I feel great emotionally, I feel strong and confident and empowered to continue to live a healthy lifestyle. I now have the tools needed for those times when I get sidetracked from my plan. I know to “throw it all in the rear-view mirror” and to move ahead by taking small steps and getting back to my positive daily habits. Jessika’s support and guidance were just what I needed to make changes. If you are struggling, do not be afraid to send that text or make that call to Jessika. She does not judge but instead listens and guides you to being your better self.

“I wanted to loose weight for my upcoming wedding but I didn’t want to hire a coach. Why would I need a coach? I always thought spending money for someone to tell me how to eat better seemed ridiculous to me…well what a fool I was because I knew much less than I thought about nutrition.
It was easier than I thought. I was getting lost in details of all the other programs I had heard about. Within the first month or 2 I had lost 15 lbs incorporating the simple method Jess taught me. More protein, more veggies, less cheetos!
I have accomplished quite a lot

  • I am just shy of a 50 lb weight loss as of this mornings weigh in

  • I have Increased muscle tone

  • I know how to read nutrition labels

  • I learned why I need to Journal everyday

Working with Jess has been a blessing in disguise because you never know what the vibe will be when you start working with someone you have never met. So clicking and being able to discuss anything with your coach is the best relationship you can have to achieve your goals.”

Last year sucked, my Lyme disease came back, I gained an extra 20 pounds and my stress level was maxed out. I followed Jessika on social media, I always appreciated her messages and liked her philosophy that fitness is more than just calorie counting and stepping on a scale and that mental and emotional health mattered equally. I finally had the courage to reach out and I am so glad I did. I immediately started feeling like myself again.

I am happier and more accepting of my own journey. I can ask for help and lean on some support when I need it most. I have learned to respect my health more and not take it for granted and it was hard for me to be patient and forgive my body for not having the ability to push like I used to because of my limitations with Lyme Disease. I am now running on average 14-18 miles per week. I lift 2-3 times a week and feel happy with my progress. I finally like what I see in the mirror. I feel healthy again. Before working with Jess, I was always exhausted for 1.5 years because of my Lyme. I spent more time lying down than getting things done because of my chronic tiredness. I got up to go to work and drove my son to soccer, otherwise I slept. I didn’t know that I could increase my energy with some nutritional adjustments. After we began to adjust my nutrition, I soon found the energy I needed to begin exercising.

I learned so much through working with Jessika. She gave me the guidance I needed to incorporate strength training and good nutrition habits. I now know that getting physically and mentally stronger is possible, I don’t feel hopeless anymore.

“My name is Kylie Lawrence and I am 25 years old. I have been working personally with Jessika for almost 10 years. I have struggled with my weight, body image, depression and anxiety my entire life. I have experienced divorce, loss, and battle with symptoms of a brain malformation every single day. I have been through some things in this life just like everyone else, but I am happy to say that I am now in the best mental space I’ve ever been.

When I was younger I wanted to be just like those girls that bullied me; eat whatever I want and never gain a pound, not have to work out, pin straight hair, live in one home with my own bedroom and two parents that had tons of money. All of my “friends” had their lives handed to them on a silver platter. They all shared clothes with each other, didn’t need to get a job, had new boyfriends every week, and lived their lives without a care in the world. That was not the case for me. I had chores every day before I got on the bus and when I got home from practice. I had a job when I was 14 years old, while playing sports and going to school. Even though I played 3 sports, I could never keep the weight off. I ate everything my “friends” ate and it stuck to me like glue. I was too embarrassed to request anything healthy when I was eating meals with them after away games because it wasn’t “cool” so I just ate crap food. Food made me feel comfortable. It was always there for me. Whenever something went wrong in my life I always turned to food because it accepted me no matter what.

Growing up and experiencing changes with my mental, physical and spiritual health steered me in the direction of Jessika Ramie and FYTE. I needed to learn how to connect my mind with my body. I spent years in therapy, but never found that it completely healed me. I felt like I was just being told to “eat healthy” “exercise” and “talk to my parents.” I never focused on the health benefits of the sports I played, I always just wanted something to do so I didn’t have to go home. Jessika has given me the platform to turn my frustrations into a healthy actions and to enjoy what I’m learning. It gives me the opportunity to create connections with real women who struggle with the same things I do.

Kylie-01-600x798.jpg

I have learned so much about myself since I began working with Jessika. I have faced my biggest fear of being honest with myself and it keeps me accountable. I have learned that it’s okay to not be okay, and that I have the power to make it okay again when I feel like it. I have learned that a healthy body comes with a healthy mind and that proper nutrition makes all the difference. I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle almost a year ago and can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. That physical, mental and spiritual connection wasn’t there for me until I learned how it important it is to be aware of what you put into your body. Consistently eating shitty food is like consistently putting diesel into a car that’s used to unleaded fuel, your whole system is compromised and you won’t perform at the potential you desire. It’s a process and it takes time to learn. I still have my moments of weakness with emotional eating, but learning how to reel yourself back in when you feel yourself slipping is what’s important. Realize that you’re human and that life is meant to be lived, but know that you will continue to go through the motions with fitness if you continue to go through the motions with balancing nutrition.”
